MOTORIST NABBED FOR ALLEGEDLY TRAVELLING AT 200 KM/H ON HWY. 401

A 20-year-old driver has been busted for allegedly travelling at 200 km/h — twice the speed limit — on Hwy. 401.

The OPP alleged the driver was on Hwy. 401, near Ajax, where the speed limit is 100 km/h.

The G2 driver has been charged with stunt driving and careless driving.

The motorist’s licence was suspended for 30 days and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days.

Police tweeted this incident on Tuesday at 4:47 a.m.
